Evacuees must register at the Reception Centre at Bonnetts Energy Centre 10017-99 Ave Grande Prairie AB. Reception identifies lodging in hotels etc. At this time, the Town of Beaverlodge has not been approached to accommodate evacuees at the Campground. As a partner with GPREP we are in continuous communication with them.
The Beaverlodge Pioneer Campground will be open for regular bookings on May 15, 2023. At this time, there are no services available. The electricity, water & sewer have not been turned on, and the sani-dump is unavailable.
The Town of Beaverlodge is in a partnership with the County of Grande Prairie, the City of Grande Prairie, Town of Wembley and the Town of Sexsmith in regard to Emergency Response, also known as Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP).
GPREP coordinates and plans the emergency response and resources during large-scale emergencies and disasters.
