Beaverlodge offers an excellent environment for seniors. Complete health services are available, including an acute care hospital (4 doctors), ambulance (EMS), a health unit, a dentist and an Rexall Drugstore with pharmacy.

Amisk Court is a residential seniors lodge with self-contained rooms for independent living. The Lossing Centre, a senior’s social club, is a busy place all year long.

Other services for seniors include: Community Outreach, grocery delivery, Lifeline, Handibus, wellness clinics, home care, Alberta Aids for Daily Living and Seniors Independent Living.

Box 30 Beaverlodge AB T0H 0C0 The Town of Beaverlodge Community Bus runs every Wednesday to Grande Prairie for appointments and shopping and is open for any resident to ride. If booking appointments in Grande Prairie, please book them between 11 am amd 1 pm. You must pre-register to ride the bus by calling780-354-4057. The bus is cancelled if less than 5 riders are signed up. The cost to ride is $5 and there are 3 pick-up locations available.
