News » Rural Health Week #RuralHealthMatters
May 27th starts Rural Health Week. A time to celebrate and show our appreciation to all the people in the health care professions and those who support them.
This year the South Peace Professional Attraction and Retention Committee (SPPARC) partnered with Broken Tine Orchard to deliver their famous Friceys Prairie Fruit Pops to health care workers around town. The fruit coated ice cream bar comes in four flavors – Haskap, Saskatoon, Raspberry and Sour Cherry and were delivered to the Beaverlodge Hospital, Beaverlodge Health Unit, Beaverlodge EMS and Beaverlodge Health & Wellness by SPPARC members and Mr. Fricey himself!
Sweet treat for sweet teeth.
