June is Recreation & Parks Month

This is a month when we recognize the many benefits that Recreation and Parks bring to our communities, and acknowledge the strong foundation of parks and recreation facilities and programs in Alberta.

Closer to home we recognized our own municipal Recreation and Parks personnel with a good meal and a show of appreciation for their work.

Our valued employees from the NuVista Recreation Centre, the Arena and the ones who keep our green spaces looking good all summer, received thanks from Mayor Rycroft and Council on behalf of the residents for the fantastic job they do.
