News » The Beaverlodge Elks Need You!
The only thing that never changes… is… things always change.
The Beaverlodge Elks have gone from a robust membership of people intent on improving the community, to a shadow of its former self with less than a dozen members trying to determine what is required to enhance the Community and surrounding area.
Wouldn’t it be great to create change, by enough people showing interest to attain that former status?
If they joined knowing their input and ideas will have an impact for generations to come?
Most of the current membership are in receipt of OAS, and to be quite honest, not a lot of gas left in the tank. Pretty sure nobody wakes up and thinks “I really want to become an Elk today”, however, they may look around and ask themselves what they could do to improve things for the children, community, and help people in need.
What we need is people with fresh perspectives, new ideas and both the initiative and the willingness to see things through.
If you fit into this category, can contribute some of your time, and are interested in helping improve the Community and surrounding area please call/text Ernie Beart 780-512-4453 or Brian Arberry 613-870-4370 for further information.
