In 2022 a town-wide contest was held to give our World Famous Giant Beaver Sculpture a proper handle.
It was sent to all the local schools specifically, as well as it was posted online for any residents who had a suggestion.
We received many fabulous entries which were wittled down based upon number of times it was suggested as well as a few that were just too cute to not include. From Chompy/Chompers to Bucky, and from Lady Beaverton to Mr. B, or from Chip to Slappy or Star Lord to Steve the Beav in the end …
At the November 28, 2022 Council meeting it was decided that the name for our World Famous, Giant Beaver Roadside Attraction would be
Justin Beaver
At this same meeting it was also decided that the Town Mascot would be named Beaverly.

In addition to drawing in tourists, the location also features a selfie stand so you can get your picture taken – maybe one day the other Justin
(a little someone named Justin Beiber) – will come get his picture taken.
